Reticulated Earrings

Reticulation seems to be something I'm good at. Potentially a slow process because it requires a special alloy of 200 parts copper and 800 parts fine silver versus the 925 sterling silver. I cheated of course and went to the local coin dealer and bought a discontinued coin with that alloy in it and rolled it out.

With reticulation you have to raise the fine silver on the piece before you begin to "warp" it. You don't HAVE to do this mind you..... ONLY IF U DON'T WANT HARDCORE FIRESCALE. So please, for yourself, raise the fine silver.

I did... but others didn't. So I am helping you by passing on their mistakes!
