Basically the reason I had doubts of continuing with metal.

This ring took me easily, 120 hours to complete. It doesn't even really look the way I wanted it to. It was an expensive mistake and it should have taken me a third of the time it did, but it was a learning experience. Again albeit an expensive one.
It became famous in the department. "Hey are you the one making the city ring?" "Can I see it?" "Can I hold it?"
NO YOU CANNOT!
I broke the damn satellite dish 3 times, and melted parts and blah blah blah. It was fun. Remind me to try and do simpler ideas in the future PLEASE.
This one is going in a few shows and contest perhaps. Maybe I can make back some of my money.

It is Sterling Silver mostly, with a little brass door handle. The stone on the tower is a garnet bullet cab. The color I got from a liver of sulpher patina. It was a hollow construction ring.

No, it is about a size 12 ring. So it is meant for big fingers. Not that I would recommend someone wearing it, it might poke your eye out!

This is SO pretty, and very cool. It looks like a modern version of a ceremonial Jewish wedding ring.
