3D Wave Pendant

This peice was based on a two dementional abstract drawing I did for a design class. Basically it was a wave, with bubbles coming from its tip. That form was cut out and applied to the front on the peice while the negative space of the wave contructed the back of the peice to give it a more dynamic look. The patina was the result of the heating up of the flux on the peice. The colors and contrasts were too beautiful to give up, so a layer of laquer was applied to keep it on. Behind the larger circle on the peice, there is a bale attatched so that this might be worn on a necklace.
